Dr. Cristina Vera is a proud Texas A&M University alum, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2016 before completing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After spending three years in general practice and gaining experience through relief work in emergency medicine, Dr. Cristina Vera transitioned to ER full-time, drawn to the fast pace and unique challenges of emergency care. She has a special passion for caring for senior pets and ensuring they receive the comfort and support they deserve.

Now living in Poulsbo with her husband and their two dogs, Arya and Fierro, she enjoys exploring new places, hiking scenic trails, and getting lost in a good book.
