ER Veterinary Assistant

About You
You are a focused, dynamic individual with veterinary assistant experience including knowledge of basic veterinary procedures, and terminology, triage and obtaining patient history, patient care and monitoring, venipuncture, and placing intravenous catheters.
You are a team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can multitask well, and can think critically on your feet. You understand the importance of clear, effective communication among team members and clients, are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations, and excel with time management.

Anticipated Schedule:
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Welcoming and checking in/out clients and patients with empathy and accuracy.
Processing payments and managing client accounts.
Managing a busy lobby of waiting clients and their pets, ensuring smooth and organized flow.

Ensuring the reception area operates smoothly at all times, even during peak periods.
Your ability to stay composed under pressure, manage competing priorities, and provide exceptional service during high-stress situations is essential.
